Love Alive is our marriage podcast.
After nearly 20 years of marriage, many of which felt more like roommates than lovers, we know firsthand what it feels like to be stuck in a relationship that looks fine on the outside but feels empty behind closed doors. We experienced the distance, the frustration, the loss of attraction, and the quiet resentment that builds when both people feel unseen and unmet. There was no single breaking point. Just a slow drift into disconnection between 2 good people who just didn't know how to navigate a healthy marriage.
At the lowest point of our relationship, in a conversation where we both acknowledged that a divorce may be the best option, we ultimately decided to give "us" one last shot. If we couldn't turn things around, divorce would be our answer.
Through deep personal growth, honest self-reflection and communication, and a willingness to challenge everything we thought we knew about love, we transformed our marriage from disconnected and dysfunctional into something deeply intimate, passionate, and fulfilling. Not perfect, but real, alive, and continually evolving.
